Our Journey Towards Education in Kandhla

The Kandhlavi Foundation for Productive Education began with one clear mission — to make education accessible, safe, and value-driven for Muslim boys and girls in Kandhla.

This vision was conceived in 2019 by Mohammad Usama Kandhlavi, also known as Qazi Usama.
At that time, many Muslim families had stopped sending their daughters to school or college due to safety concerns and an unsuitable educational environment. Recognizing this critical issue, Qazi Usama took a decisive step toward change.

He initially planned to establish a medical science college alongside a senior secondary school.
However, due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the project was temporarily paused.

In 2024, the project was revived with a new focus —
To build a school up to class 12, and a paramedical college.

A paramedical college offers professional training and diploma-level education in essential healthcare fields such as nursing, lab technology, radiology, emergency care, and more. These courses prepare students to support doctors and hospitals by becoming skilled healthcare technicians and frontline workers.

On 31st January 2025, this vision moved closer to reality when the foundation (Buniyad) of the college building was officially laid.
The first brick was placed by Maulana Aaqil Sahib, in the presence of local residents and members of Qazi Usama’s family who came together in support of the mission.

Looking ahead, the foundation aspires to grow this institution into a full-fledged medical college, complete with a hospital and hostel facilities.

The core aim remains unchanged:
To provide quality education rooted in Islamic values, and to ensure that girls feel safe, respected, and empowered while pursuing their studies.

This is more than just a dream —
It is a mission to build a brighter future for the children of Kandhla.
